Cult of Khaine Warhammer Army Blog

This blog is dedicated to my Dark Elf Warhammer army - The Cult of Khaine.

I have been collecting and painting models for the past couple of years in particular the games workshop warhammer dark elves. These are my favourite minatures out of their range and over the time I have amassed a rather large army. I thought it would be a good idea to blog my development of the army as It evolves to keep a record of my ideas and to showcase the models when I finish them. I will be posting various images, comments and links as I go and would love to hear any comments you have.

Kouran - Captain of the Black Guard

Well - this week has been a busy one! I delivered my entries to GW for the Gold Demon competition. I have enter in 4 categories - Warhammer Single Miniature, Warhammer Medium Miniature, Warhammer Regiment and the Open Category.

The Photo above is of my Single Miniature entry Kouran - Captain of the Black Guard ... again the photo does not do it justice :-(

My last blog was the entry for the Medium Miniature - the Sorceress on the Sword Spider.

Will post some pics of the other entries soon

Are you David Warnier, the guy featured in an old GW website article?

Sorry if this seems weird, but I was looking in a 6th edition fantasy facebook group and found a bunch of PDF's in the files sections and found rules and guides to convert characters like Kouran who never had a model.

The problem for me is that the PDF's link to the wayback time machine website, of which many of the image links are broken. The article said that a "David Warnier" made a conversion using a Black Guard command hero, Dark Rider Halberd thingy, and a howling Banshee (You can see what I'm talking about here: https://web.archive.org/web/20050417221036/http://uk.games-workshop.com/darkelves/special-characters/8/). The image to the Kouran conversion is broken, hence why I'm asking!
