Well I have finally finished painting this great conversion for the Golden Demon Comp. It has been great fun converting and painting these models. I would love to hear what you think - any comments would be most welcome.

I think they look pretty good. I love the conversion work, making them out of the various plastic kits was a great plan. Also, I must admit I dislike the heads, I personally would have gone with armoured heads instead.
The painting is also great, a nice dark scheme that suits the Druchii. But again the heads I find a little off putting. The black marks around their eyes I'm not a fan of. But overall, the unit is well painted and would great on the tabletop.
They look superb ! I'm trying not to look into their eyes though, I don't want to me subverted by the god of murder.
This is a good blog you have going here. In fact, while I'm here, I'd like to invite you to join the battle reporter forum. We're always on the look out for keen gamers, painters and bloggers.

Sigma - will check out the forum soon!
Kuffeh - Im working on an all female army at the moment just using the GW plastics. Daemonette heads were unfornately the only choice I could find that seemed to work. I have some more units that I will be posting soon.

Taken myself the time to browse through your older posts, and I'm fairly impressed. The Tower is simply awesome, and I think your 5-headed Dragon-Hydra is wonderful: great idea and superb execution!
I also like your newest painted unit, the Black Guards, a nice touch to make them all female, but personally I think they'd look greater without the make-up around the eyes. Only a matter of taste, though. The paint job in itself is really good, and all the details like the small cuts here and there, your choice of skin tone aswell as the fine highlighting on the armour creates a good (in an evil way) atmosphere that I think fit the unit very well!
