Cult of Khaine Warhammer Army Blog

This blog is dedicated to my Dark Elf Warhammer army - The Cult of Khaine.

I have been collecting and painting models for the past couple of years in particular the games workshop warhammer dark elves. These are my favourite minatures out of their range and over the time I have amassed a rather large army. I thought it would be a good idea to blog my development of the army as It evolves to keep a record of my ideas and to showcase the models when I finish them. I will be posting various images, comments and links as I go and would love to hear any comments you have.

Dark Elf Executioners Female Conversion

Well, it has been a while since I have put anything up on this blog. I have still been quite busy working on this all female Dark Elf army. Here is my latest work in progress a unit of Female Dark Elf Executioners. I have converted them using a variety of bits and some green stuff. I hope to get some more photos up very soon of a few more of these units painted and finished.

Thanks for the comments, the parts I used...

- HE Spearmen Legs
- DE Warrior Torso (female breastplate only)
- DE Warrior arms
- Empire Great Swords Curved Swords
- Heads are a mix of DE Cold Ones and Daemonette Heads
- I also changed the shafts of the swords, used the HE archers hilts
- also a mix of some other bits.
- I then used green stuff to create chainmail.

I have done some more greenstuff work on this around the arms but have not been able to post any pics as its now base coated ready for painting (hard to photograph black models)

I have almost finished painting my plastic witch elves conversion - I should have some more photos up in a week.. check them out if you get the chance.

Yes - its a shame GW didn't update the other units. oh well look forward to the next release. :-)

Admiring the time and energy you put into your blog and in depth information you provide. It's good to come across a blog every once in a while that isn't the same outdated rehashed information. Great read! I've bookmarked your site and I'm including your RSS feeds to my Google account. gmail.com login
