Cult of Khaine Warhammer Army Blog

This blog is dedicated to my Dark Elf Warhammer army - The Cult of Khaine.

I have been collecting and painting models for the past couple of years in particular the games workshop warhammer dark elves. These are my favourite minatures out of their range and over the time I have amassed a rather large army. I thought it would be a good idea to blog my development of the army as It evolves to keep a record of my ideas and to showcase the models when I finish them. I will be posting various images, comments and links as I go and would love to hear any comments you have.

Cult of Slaanesh - Gorgon Guard (Black Guard)

Malekith has his Black Guard so why can't Morathi have a personal guard as well!

Here is a conversion of her personal guard the Gorgon Guard - loyal subjects to Morathi and the Cult of Pleasure. They wield large halberds and have heavy golden armour adorned with fine cloaks of winter wolves fur or the skins of their first love.

Can I take your armies photos for my project #u'have2seeit in Vk (Vkontakte - russian social network) about best armies of Fb & t9A?

Sure not a problem.

Wow! Amazing job! Did you sculpt the gorgon-head shields or they were from a model?

Thanks for the comment!
The shields are from the cold ones kit.

Wow. It should have been hard. I assume that there's only one gorgon shield per kit.

I bought this mini some time ago thinking of a gorgon-themed dark elf army, but I'm not sure how to use it. (Yes, I'm a bit of a compulsive WH buyer if the minis are cool enough.) Maybe you can think of an idea for yours.

I was lucky to pick a few up in a bits bag and thought they would be cool for a converted unit - that how I came up with the Gorgon Guard.

That's a really nice model - thanks for the link will have to look into it further.
